In case you were wondering. . . PROPS:
There is indeed a difference between props and decorations. Technically speaking, a theatrical property, commonly referred to as a "prop", is any object held or used on stage by an actor for use in furthering the plot or story line of a theatrical production. Smaller props are referred to as "hand props". Elements may also be "set decorations", such as a chair or table. The difference between a 'set decoration' and a 'prop' is use. If the item is not touched by a performer it is simply a set decoration. If it is touched by the actor in accordance to script requirements or as deemed by the director, it is a prop.

With that being said:
We refer to large decorations as props simply because the objects are indeed used to further the ambiance of our multi-scale interactive productions. In addition, our props are always much more than just large decorations because we whenever possible we construct objects that actually "work" or can undeniably be used by guests either directly or indirectly.

The natural choice.
We always construct our props with the guest in mind. Our chief objective is to awe inspire the guests. Our events are always multi-scale interactive productions and any large decorations that we provide are indeed meant to further the atmosphere of the event. The items can also be used by guests in accordance with the event requirements (such as in the use of photography backdrops, catering buffets, room dividers). This concept is relatively new for us but since we have always custom-built most of our own equipment it was a natural choice.

If we cannot first locate your prop, or a variation thereof, from a network of local and national sources, we may be able to construct it for you - from scratch and only the rental rate will apply.

NEW - Animals

We are proud to have found a new source for animals. Most of these realistic animals are full-sized. The "coat" of each character is cut and assembled by hand to ensure lifelike features and muscle tone. Some small but animals can also be used for gift baskets.

NEW: We have had several clients take interest in an Airplane Prop, so we have decided to construct it. Pictured left is the "before shot", the rough framing - please check back for completed photo.

Plane will be red in color. It will be moveable on it's own wheels. Length is approx. 140"X150" wingspan. It will feature real metal trim, rivets, windows with a completed cockpit, as well as flashing red lights, fog emitting from the exhaust ports and the icing on the cake: A moving propeller!! A perfect addition to a 1920's, 1930's or aviation theme.

Typically our theme design packages will begin with large key props in conjunction with complimenting items such as ceiling or wall dressings, table decorations and costumed staff members depending on your requests and the available space.
